THE DELECTABLE BRIDE

Marriage is a beautiful thing and has no age limit as to when you get to enjoy the bliss that comes with it. Though young ladies especially in Africa are encouraged to settle down in their early 20s, women are now proving that there is no particular age that is late to get married.

Age they say is just a number and has nothing to do with when you will find love. Rita Dominic and the love of her life Fidelis Anosike found each other at 46 and 56 years respectively. The love birds were traditionally married on 19 April 2022 a ceremony that brought the high and mighty of Nigeria’s entertainment industry.

Nollywood stars, family, and friends turned up in beautiful green with a touch of gold attires to celebrate with the newly wedded couple. The traditional ceremony took place at Rita Dominic’s home town Aboh Mbaise, Imo State Nigeria.

The event was graced by the likes of Joke Silva, Ini Edo, Chioma Akpotha, Uche Jombo, Nse Ikpe Etim, Uti Nwachukwu, Chidi Mokeme, and musician Kaycee just to mention a few. However, Nigerians have called out some of her colleagues like Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade, Tonto Dikeh, and others for missing the wedding party.

The delectable beautiful bride was dressed in blue lace and adorned with traditional beads for the first function of the ceremony and later appeared in a beautiful fuchsia pink lace for the reception of the event. Unlike the recent trend of crazy styles in weddings, the bride and other celebrities were decently dressed in classy colorful dresses.

Here’s what you need to know about Rita Dominic and her groom Fidelis Anosike. She has received several other awards and nominations for her outstanding performances.  She is also the co-founder of Audrey Silva Company a leading Nigerian film company dedicated to birthing quality content.

He acquired the newspaper in 2004 under Folio Communications Limited. The Creative Arts graduate started Folio Communications at the age of 24 after he graduated from University of Benin in 1991.

Folio Communications is a conglomerate; it is also the founder of Miss Nigeria, 1st October, Times Multimedia and Creative Africa Xchange (CAX), and Folio Nigeria powered by CNN. Mr. Anosike is also the organizer of Miss Nigeria.

Meanwhile, many have used the opportunity to pick lessons and give advice to ladies not to rush into marriage but should rather focus on acquiring skills and building themselves in other for them to take with them value to their husband’s house.

However, some motivational speaker has advised ladies not to follow the footsteps of the newly wedded bride; he said women have higher chances of giving birth to intelligent children in their prime, he said women should stop being selective in other to settle down early. He said Rita should have been celebrating her 20 anniversary and not a new union at 46.

His Facebook advice has generated heated arguments in the comment section of the post as many said marriage comes from the Lord and God’s time is the best.

The celebrity wedding has been a sensation, her fans are still gushing over her beauty and the star stud ceremony. Congratulatory messages and prayers have since been flowing from all angles.

We wish her the very best of marriage.
