But his lawyer has since confirmed reports from Le Parisien that his client has been released – but there are some stringent terms as part of his freedom. It is claimed the terms of his release have also banned him from contacting brother Paul, as well as his own mum.
Mathias has also been restricted from leaving France and is not allowed to use any form of social media as he awaits trial. It ends three months of time in prison, after a request to be released was initially rejected in September.

However, his older sibling has insisted he is innocent. The forward, who played for his country of birth Guinea internationally, will not stay in Paris where he will remain at a family property. In August, he made a series of allegations against his brother in an astonishing video on social media. Among the claims insisting that the former Manchester United star used a witch doctor to cast a spell on Kylian Mbappe ahead of the World Cup.
