Celebrating Women Entrepreneurs and Empowering Businesses

The “Mrs Lady of the Year” award is set to launch in Africa next year. It will honour and showcase the achievements of strong and successful women on the continent. In 2025, the first five African countries will host an extraordinary business competition to empower and celebrate women’s success.
The rights for the event were given to Albena International Ltd., the prestigious and number one promoter of the African continent in the EU. Albena Anyuat Jones is an exceptional female entrepreneur, intercultural event organiser, and public speaker who will be the driving force behind “Mrs Lady of the Year Africa”.
Her company, Albena International Ltd, is the chief organiser of the event for Africa, which will partner with local organisations, influential individuals, and celebrities in each African country to host the event. Once established, the event will remain an annual programme for each participating country.
Albena, CEO Albena International Ltd is also a title holder of “Mrs Lady of the Year 2022”, where she was awarded for her international achievements.
While reacting to the exciting announcement of her new endeavour, she said, “My dedication is to celebrate Africa and the African women who uplift their communities through progress and business. Albena added that together with her team, they “Bring the opportunity to every country in Africa to establish this transformative platform for elevating women who have excelled in business and awarding them for their excellence and contribution.”
Established over 25 years ago, the annual “Mrs Lady of the Year” award has gained international recognition and collaborates with renowned publications, such as Forbes magazine.
She revealed that A- CHOICES Magazine is the official media partner for the event to further display its support for Africa and Africans. “In line with our support of all things African, I would like to announce that A-CHOICES African Lifestyle Magazine will be the event’s official media partner.
Albena expressed profound gratitude to the organisers of the event while assuring that the event will offer unique opportunities for global entrepreneurs. “Our gratitude goes to the “Mrs Lady of the Year” Chairwoman, Lady Megi Savova, a prominent organiser associated with “Famous” and”Mrs Universe Ltd.
“We would like to emphasize that the events in each country will offer unique opportunities for Global entrepreneurs to expand their business interests in Africa.”
She said a networking day is planned before the award ceremony gala, and there will be advertising and sponsorship support opportunities for participating companies and entities. She urged that the event will attract an international audience and encouraged everyone to be part of the history in the making of “Mrs. Lady of the Year Africa”, an event where Beauty meets Business.
