Gabrielle Union recently made headlines when she spoke about her first marriage and how terrible things went for them. The Hollywood star, who’s now married to Dwyane Wade, talked about her first marriage with a former NFL player, which was bad from the beginning.
Gabrielle might be head over heels in love with Miami heat legend Dwayne Wade but her love life has always been complicated. Recently she went on to discuss the difficulties she faced during her first marriage with an NFL player which was not taken well by 50 Cent by any means.
But to first make everyone aware of what union did – She admitted to cheating on Chris Howard because she felt like it was she, who was indeed wearing the pants in the family and was paying all the bills, taking the reins of the home.
“I was paying all the bills, I was working my ass off and I felt like that’s what comes [with it],” the actress said. “I was like, Oh, that’s what you’re doing?” The union explained her back-and-forth cheating strategy with Howard. “You’re gonna feel this one.” She eventually came to understand that she was internally missing something within herself and became “horny for validation and having certain kinds of guys like me and want me.” Union added, “[I wanted to] feel like I was worthy and good and valuable and deserving.”
Union was completely honest about it, but not many people appreciated her honesty. One of them was rapper 50 Cent, who went off on the actress, saying some harsh words about her. When the word of Union came to 50 Cent’s ears, there was no mercy shown by the music artist as he viciously bashed her for keeping such thoughts. The rapper and businessman went off on the actress, calling out Union for justifying his actions simply because she was taking care of those things.
Cent said via Hip Hop DX, “For just saying I was the breadwinner making more money, so now he should just go with whatever I say until she just go find something she likes? This is really what we talking about this is hoe shit. This is the mentality of someone who’s a hoe. Because she’s saying if you got the bigger bag, Big, then I’ll listen, but if the bag ain’t right, I’m out. Gabrielle a hoe. Look at the mentality connected to it. If you are saying the guy has to have more money than you to sit still, Big, are you buying this car or are you leasing? You just giving her some money for her to sit still because you up. But in the event you experience a low point, then she has the right to go out because she’s earning more than you at that point. This is hoe shit.”
