The newly established Bulgarian African Chamber of Commerce (BACC) in Sofia, marks an exciting milestone in fostering collaborations between Bulgaria and the diverse nations of Africa.

Here is what was said by the organization’s Chairman Mr. Anton Samsonov on the formation of this exciting venture – Our mission is to create a platform for networking, trade, and cultural exchange, enhancing economic growth and mutual prosperity for all parties involved.

At the BACC, we believe that the synergy between Bulgaria and African countries holds immense potential; we would like to revive the past and forgotten relations that Bulgaria has had with Africa in the past. Our focus and areas of expertise, including agriculture, the hydro industry, education, and tourism, while remaining open to all fields and forms of collaboration.

The BACC aims to build enduring partnerships that drive innovation and development. Our future initiatives will be key to realizing this vision. We will facilitate connections between Bulgarian and African businesses, where ideas, expertise, and opportunities flow freely. Our networking events will provide a platform for meaningful interactions and collaborations.

BACC will organize trade visits and events, enabling members to explore new markets, establish business contacts, and gain first-hand insights into the economic landscapes of Bulgaria and the African countries. These visits will provide trade and investment opportunities. Our events and conferences will bring together industry leaders, experts, and policymakers to discuss trends, challenges, and opportunities in key sectors. These gatherings are designed to promote knowledge exchange, inspire innovation, and facilitate business growth and recognition.

Our areas of expertise are diverse and vital for sustainable development. In agriculture, we will encourage collaboration in agricultural technology, farming practices, and agribusiness ventures. In the hydro industry, we will explore opportunities in water management, hydroelectric power, and environmental sustainability, aiming to address pressing water-related challenges. Promoting education will support initiatives that enhance academic cooperation, skill development, and training. Additionally, in the tourism sector, we will boost the travel and tourism industries, by celebrating cultural diversity and showcasing the rich heritage of the African nations.

We invite businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals to join the Bulgarian African Chamber of Commerce and be part of this transformative journey. As a member, you will gain access to a wealth of resources, including networking events, market insights, and opportunities for collaboration. Together, we can create a vibrant community that thrives on shared goals and mutual success.

Our motto, “Forward ever, backward never,” symbolizes the strength and resilience of the rhinoceros, which is reflected in our logo. This powerful message inspires us to continually strive for progress and innovation, never looking back but always moving forward.

Become a member today to unlock the potential of collaboration between Bulgaria and Africa. Let’s build bridges, foster innovation, and drive economic growth through meaningful partnerships. We look forward to welcoming you to the Bulgarian African Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Culture.”
