Annie’s Declaration of Love for Her Girls

Life hasn’t been easy each time I remember how people mocked and call me “the foolish wife who stays,” leaving comments like “she’s just a desperate baby mama turned wife.” Each word felt like a knife, and I’d sit in the dark, tears streaming, questioning my worth.

Then I’d hear the soft patter of tiny feet, my daughters, Isabella and Olivia, running to me. They’d crawl into my lap, their hands wiping my tears. “Mummy, don’t cry, we love you,” Isabella would say, her big eyes full of care. Olivia, my little warrior, once declared, “I’ll fight those mean people!” Their words and giggles became my lifeline. They reminded me why I stayed, to give them a family, to show them love conquers all. My children are my backbone, their hugs mending my broken spirit. They drown out the hate with their laughter, giving me the strength to stand tall. I’m not just a wife in a messy story, I’m a mother, held up by my girls’ endless love. They’re my reason to keep fighting, no matter what.
