Near the end of Argentina’s successful World Cup campaign, Messi and Sergio Aguero shared the room. The room is no longer open to guests. Instead, there are plans to transform the area into a tiny museum where the Paris Saint-Germain player’s belongings would be kept in all their beauty for future students and visitors.

According to Hitmi al Hitmi, director of communications and public relations at Qatar University, Lionel Messi’s room will remain untouched and would be accessible to guests only. Local residents would not be allowed. Messi’s possessions will serve as a legacy for kids and future generations and serve as a reminder of the tremendous accomplishments he made at the World Cup.

Messi’s club manager Christophe Galtier expressed his happiness at accomplishing such an important milestone.
