Welcome to our April edition of A-CHOICES Magazine where we celebrate all that we love about being Africans.

This edition ushers us into the second quarter of the year and so far, it has been an incredible journey with you our readers. 

On the cover of this edition is Christine Teller, a Nigerian beauty queen. She was 23 years old when she has crowned Miss Earth Nigeria in 2021, and became the official representative of Nigeria at Miss Earth 2021. Her environmental advocacy is the promotion and preservation of biodiversity. She has spearheaded a poverty alleviation scheme for widows in Abuja. She has also organised a campaign against malaria and also promoted its sensitisation in rural areas like Ikon and Etung both in Cross River State. You’d find her journey an interesting read in this interview. 

It’s amazing that Lent and Ramadan fasting are happening together this year. I pray that our acts of worship would be accepted by God and I wish you a wonderful Easter and Id-  el Fitr celebrations later in the month.
