This is Simi a Nigerian singer, songwriter, sound engineer, and actress born Simisola Bolatito Kosoko on April 19, 1988, in Ojuelegba, Lagos, Nigeria. Her music career spans over a decade, transitioning from gospel to Afrobeats and R&B.
Simi grew up in a Christian family and began singing in her local church choir at a young age. Her parents separated when she was nine years old, and she was raised by her mother.
Simi attended Stars International College in Ikorodu, Lagos State, and later graduated with a degree in Mass Communications from Covenant University.
Simi’s professional music career began in 2008 with the release of her debut studio album, “Ogaju”. She gained public recognition in 2014 with her single “Tiff” and signed a record deal with X3M Music.
