British Nigeria music mogul, Joseph Olaitan Adenuga Jr, aka Skepta has featured Nigerian artiste, Portable in his new single ‘Tony Montana’.
The song is one of the singles that will make up Skepta’s latest and sixth album, entitled Knife & Fork expected to release later this year.
Both artistes first got together earlier this year when Portable released the Tony Montana of London EP following his publicized visit to the United Kingdom.
Fans were impressed by Portable’s contribution to the new single Tony Montana, which has generated much excitement on social media, as he (Portable) delivered a quite coherent and musical chorus, that is a far cry from his usual hoarse vocal and street music.
‘Tony Montana’ succeeds comes off Skepta’s single ‘Jangrova’ which featured Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck and Idris Elba.
The singer, rapper, and music producer also made his directorial debut with the film Tribal Mark, a movie about a British Nigerian hitman. Bored of the talk and calls for a black to play the famous character of James Bond, Skepta, said he decided do to something different.
Produced by the award-winning Jae5, ‘Tony Montana’ sees Skepta explores Afrobeats through his Nigerian heritage.
