He cheered on United goalkeeper Onana and after the game was spotted on the pitch talking to his fellow Cameroonian. But Ngannou switched the ring for the pitch as the pair then began hilariously play-fighting. It did not take the 19st 6lb man mountain long to grab Onana and tackle him to the floor.

Footage has emerged of Manchester United goalkeeper Andre Onana and the former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou having a play fight on the Old Trafford pitch after the Bodo/Glimt game.

Ngannou attended the match alongside two-time world heavyweight contender and United fan Derek Chisora. Both posed for photos in the stands with personalized shirts provided by the club.

The former then went pitchside after the match to spend time with Onana. There, they posed for photos and spoke before having a quick scrap on the pitch. A video they have both shared on social media since shows them assuming a boxing stance before Ngannou dives down to grab Onana’s right leg, moves up to his waist, and drags the player to the ground from behind.

From there, he positions himself on top before pretending to throw elbows at his head. Ngannou then rolls away as they both get back to their feet, after which, Onana comes over to shake hands before they hug each other.
