Big Brother Naija all-star season: The drama has begun

The most watched reality TV show in Nigeria is back. Big Brother Naija season eight premiered on Sunday 23 July 2023 on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29.

The new season is an All Stars version of the reality show. This season brought back selected previous housemates according to Big Brother.

“The ‘All Stars’ edition featured carefully selected housemates and fan favourites from previous editions of the show which includes See Gobbe, Double Wahala, Pepper Dem, Lockdown, Shine Ya Eye and Level Up.”

According to the organizers of the show MultiChoice, the winner of the season is expected to win a total of ₦120 million grand prize.

As always, this season is set to be filled with an abundance of entertainment as the housemates compete for the grand prize of 120 Million Naira. The thrills and drama has begun as housemates are settling in to give viewers the deserving entertainment.

Uriel – See Gobe (Season 2)

Uriel Ngozi Oputa left a lasting impression in the 2017 See Gobe season. Now, she’s back to showcase her vibrant personality and entrepreneurial spirit as an all-star.

Soma – See Gobe (Season 2)

Soma Anyama, Just like every housemate was a well-liked housemate in the 2017 season. Now, in the All-Star edition, he’s back to compete for the grand prize and showcase his humorous and collected nature.

Cee-C – Double Wahala (Season 3)

Cynthia Nwadiora, better known as Cee-C, is a well-known Nigerian lawyer, actress, model, and social media phenomenon. She gained prominence as a housemate in the 2018 season of BBNaija, where she finished as one of the runners-up. Now, the drama queen is back as one of the housemates for the 2023 all-star edition, ready to reveal a new side of herself and take on the game with a fresh perspective.

Alex – Double Wahala (Season 3)

Alexandra Amuchechukwu Asogwa, also known as Alex Unusual, was a well-liked housemate in the 2018 season. She is back to bring the heat and deliver highlights in the all-star edition.

Princess – Double Wahala (Season 3)

The “Double Wahala” edition featured Princess Onyejekwe, a PR manager. She return to the house determined to enjoy the event and have a good time while competing for the grand prize.

Ike – Pepper Dem (Season 4)

Ike Onyema, known for his friendship with Mercy who is also back on the show, he was a memorable housemate in the 2019 season. He is back for the money and fun.

Venita – Pepper Dem (Season 4)

Venita Akpofure, the outspoken actress and attorney, left an impression in the 2019 season. She’s here again with a different energy ready to bring the bull to the ground and make her mark.

Frodd – Pepper Dem (Season 4)

Chukwuemeka Okoye, popularly known as Frodd, was a fan favourite in the 2019 season. He returns for the all-star edition and we are looking forward to his new energy.

Seyi – Pepper Dem (Season 4)

Seyi Awolowo, was a cool-headed guy who came on the show with a strategic gameplay in the 2019 season. Now, he’s back to seek Biggie’s wealth and benefits.

Mercy – Pepper Dem (Season 4)

Mercy Eke is the first female housemate to win the competition, she triumphed in the 2019 season. As a housemate for the second time, she back to deliver more highlight and also win the show.

Kiddwaya – Lockdown (Season 5)

Kiddwaya Terseer, was a popular housemate in the 2020 Lockdown season and is back as a housemate. His attitude captured hearts during his previous stint, and now, he’s ready to make waves once again, aiming to win the grand prize and share it with everyone.

Neo – Lockdown (Season 5)

Emuobonuvie Akpofure, also known as Neo featured in the Lockdown edition. His relationship with one of the housemates was among why he became one of the fans favourite.  He’s back to benefit from grace once more and play the game to win.

Tolani Baj – Lockdown (Season 5)

Tolanibaj Aderogba, recognised for her stylish sense and outspoken demeanour, gained popularity in the 2020 season. She is back to serve the pepper the audience wants.

Angel – Shine Ya Eye (Season 6)

Angel Smith gained popularity in the 2021 season. She was among the last runners in the house during her time. She returns to the show with her energy to bring drama and good vibes.

Pere – Shine Ya Eye (Season 6)

Pere Egbi has a background in the military and fiery temper. He gained popularity in the 2021 season. Now, he’s back as a housemate, aiming to outshine the competition and claim the ultimate victory.

Whitemoney – Shine Ya Eye (Season 6)

Hazel Oyeze Onou, known as Whitemoney, was the winner of the season six of the show. As an all-star housemate he’s back to showcase his drive for success.

Cross – Shine Ya Eye (Season 6)

Sunday Cross Okonkwo, with his outgoing nature and willingness to challenge the status quo, made waves in the 2021 season. He introduces himself as the bridegroom in the all-star edition.

Doyin – Level Up (Season 7)

Doyinsola David is a medical radiographer turned celebrity, she made a mark in the 2022 season of the show and finished in 4^th place. Known for her wit and cheerful nature, she is back to the house focused on winning the grand prize with no time for frivolities and friends.

Ilebaye – Level Up (Season 7)

Ilebaye Odiniya, the provocative and competitive entrepreneur, made an impact in the 2022 season. Returning in the all-star edition, she’s ready to pick up where she left off and show her determination to win.

Adekunle – Level Up (Season 7)

Adekunle Tobilola Olopade, known for his cool attitude and sense of humour, returns as an all-star housemate after the recent reunion.
